JOURNEY TO ​La LEONA WATERFALL

This is part hike, part swim, part adventure and so much fun. La Leona waterfall is located just on the other side of Liberia. The water's beautiful blue hue is breathtaking as is the surrounding nature. If you enjoy hiking this is a must do. Both private and group tours are available. We highly recommend a private tour for this unique adventure. Remember a change of clothes, you will be wet for your return to Las Catalinas. 

La Leona Waterfall is a one hour fifteen minute drive from Casa Blanca.

Duration: 4-5 hours, 2 hour hike

Local Tip: The best tour of the day is first thing in the morning. Leave Las Catalinas at 7:00am for the 8:30am tour. Pick up smoothies in Copper and Stone on your way out of town.
